Plot

Food is like a common thread, something that transcends its biological necessity but instead holds cultural, social, and emotional significance. It is that element capable of connecting people and origins, acting as a vehicle through which cultural heritage is preserved and celebrated. Every culture, in fact, boasts its own culinary traditions: from Italian pasta to Indian curries, from Mexican tacos to Japanese ramen… These are traditions that not only nourish, but also serve as a glue to our origins. Food becomes the protagonist of holiday celebrations: from hearty Christmas meals to New Year's Eve dinners, from Halloween treats to Thanksgiving.
Thus, beyond strengthening cultural and family bonds, food has the power to transport us to different parts of the world and broaden our horizons. "Recipes in a Suitcase" offers a discovery of 50 festive dishes from different nations around the world. Leafing through the pages, you'll find a mix of traditional recipes passed down through generations, accompanied by curiosities and compelling stories. This book celebrates the joy of gathering with loved ones and has the extraordinary ability to bring us together and bridge cultural differences.
