How to submit proposals

We prefer to receive editorial proposals electronically. Please also attach:

  • a short presentation, for illustrated books and guides
  • a synopsis, for novels and essays

Both in separate text files.

We will respond to you within 3-4 months of receiving your application or requesting further information.

If we're unable to respond, please don't consider this a sign of disrespect: it's simply a necessary management step to optimize time and resources, which are already limited by other editorial activities.

Before sending, we recommend that you:

  • verify that your work is compatible , at least in principle, with our catalogue
  • do not use any system or link that involves a download that may expire in the meantime

FAQ

What should I write in the synopsis?

The synopsis is a comprehensive summary of your work: it should explain the entire plot, main characters, key events, and the ending. Don't worry about spoilers: we want to know all the story details so we can evaluate your proposal without misunderstandings.

Practical advice:
- Length: 1 page maximum.
- Write clearly and directly, without frills.
- Indicate the main characters, their role and the most important dynamics

I submitted my proposal but haven't received a response yet. What should I do?

Please carefully read the deadlines indicated on our website: evaluations may take several weeks or months, depending on the number of manuscripts received. We recommend that you do not send reminders before the indicated deadlines, to allow the editorial staff to carefully review all the manuscripts.

Can I ask for an appointment before submitting my proposal?

No, the publishing house does not organize individual meetings for preliminary presentations. All proposals must be submitted through the official channel indicated (form on our website), so that all authors are evaluated according to the same criteria.

Do I have to pay to have my work published?

No, publishing with us is completely free. Our publishing house is serious and professional and does not require any financial contribution from authors. Precisely because there are no costs, we reserve the right to evaluate and select proposals based on their consistency with our catalog. The publisher is responsible for all publishing costs, and the author must not contribute in any way to these costs, in accordance with the Copyright Law (Law of April 22, 1941, No. 633, Article 1 et seq.).
