“Just as in space, in water you can fly, you can remain silent, and you can fantasize.”
A children's book in poetic form, divided into 17 nursery rhymes, "The World Below" tells the story of a child who comes into contact with the world of water for the first time. All his fears dissolve thanks to his teacher, who encourages him to overcome his fears without pushing him into excessive competitiveness, his group of classmates, his new and friendly swimming buddy, and also thanks to the support of his family, ready to encourage him, support him, and listen to his enthusiastic accounts of "little fish."
Luigi Finucci's story is one of rare delicacy, encouraging even adults to immerse themselves in the suspended world of the swimming pool, in search of that peace and serenity that has been so lost in the frenzy of life, a world that restores all the beauty and fun of getting back into shape physically and mentally, and which shapes the character of the child to not give up in the face of the first difficulties, to overcome fears and to explore unknown and enchanted universes.
The book is enriched by three prestigious prefaces: that of Paolo Barelli, President of the Italian Swimming Federation, that of Fausto Aitelli, Regional President of FIN, and that of Piero Falzetti, Coordinator of SIT and Regional Committee of Marche FIN
