That journey was exhausting, they walked days and nights, nights and days, crossed valleys, forded rushing rivers, climbed sharp rocks, entered enchanted forests, lakes with dragons, then, now at the end of their strength, when that place seemed unattainable, the sea appeared before them and down there, the edge of the world of where.

Michela Bocci
Michela Bocci is the mother of Marco and Manuel. With a degree in Pedagogy of Marginalization and Disability, she has dedicated her studies and personal journey to understanding the concept of "normality" and its many nuances.
During her undergraduate thesis, she questioned who can be defined as “normal” and who cannot, coming to the conclusion that such definitions are often the result of our prejudices and mental perceptions.
With her second work, dedicated to the so-called "moon children," that is, children with autism, Michela has sensitively and profoundly addressed what initially generated fear and uncertainty, transforming it into awareness and acceptance.
The experience of motherhood then opened a new chapter for her, that of mastocytosis, a rare disease that led her once again to confront diversity and explore its meaning.
As she likes to remember, nothing happens by chance: every experience, even the most difficult, has taught her how precious life is in all its forms.
Convinced that "diversity is only in the eye of the beholder," Michela pursues with love and passion a life path based on empathy, acceptance, and the beauty of differences.
