Gianni Corvatta, born in Recanati in 1953, graduated in Chemistry. He taught for many years in the Chemistry degree program at the University of Camerino.
Passionate about botany, particularly medicinal plants, and drawn (as a chemist) to understanding the active ingredients present in herbs, he has shared this interest over the years with his wife, a herbalist and owner of a herbalist's shop. Throughout his working life, he has co-authored numerous scientific publications in national and international journals and has spoken at important conferences and workshops.
As a writer, he presents himself as a chemist and expert in medicinal herbs. He is the author of the book "Plants Grow by Looking at the Sky."
